A digital aptitude test from g.a.s.t., added to APS India for selected Indian master’s applicants from summer semester 2027.

The core module
Ninety minutes. Three timed subtests of general cognitive skill: figure sequences, mathematical equations, Latin squares.

Figure sequences
Watch four 3×3 matrices, then choose the next two. Movement, rotation, and fill follow a fixed rule.

Mathematical equations
A unique integer solution in 1–20. Every letter must be right. Algebra I, done cleanly.

Latin squares
A 5×5 square of A–E. Each letter once per row and column. Name the highlighted cell.

A short academic situation and a set of questions. Transfer and inference, not a fact dump.

Scores, percentiles, APS
Two 0–200 scales with a mean of 100, a percentile, no pass mark. The certificate does not expire.
