Exam day and a four-week plan
Digital client, no notes, a break between modules. Prepare the format until it is dull.
The day
About five days before the test the participant portal sends procedure notes and an introductory video. Official materials put the sitting at about three hours of testing with a 30-minute break between core and subject — roughly three and a half hours in the centre. Centres are appointed g.a.s.t. rooms — not your laptop at home. Bring the ID you registered with. You are not allowed to take notes. If you do not know an answer, guess. You will not see extra explanations during the test beyond what the official prep PDFs already taught.
A sober four-week plan
Week 1: read every official PDF and watch the five intro videos. Sit one untimed example of each subtest here. Week 2: daily 25-minute section drills; review every miss by restating the rule in a sentence. Week 3: two sprint mocks; practise the break (stand, water, no phone spiral). Week 4: one full-length paper, then light drills only. Sleep is a scoring strategy.
What not to buy
There is no secret syllabus. Coaching that promises a cut-off is selling a number the test does not use for APS. Official prep materials plus timed familiarisation are the whole game.
